About MCP Link Layer

What is MCP Link Layer?

MCP Link Layer is a platform for hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers. We make it easy to connect AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf to external tools and services — without requiring users to run Docker containers or manage infrastructure themselves.

How it works

MCP Link Layer hosts MCP servers in the cloud. Users browse our marketplace, add their credentials for third-party services (e.g. GitHub, Slack, databases), and receive a simple configuration snippet they can paste into their AI client. The servers run on our infrastructure — no local setup required.

Bridge Agent

For accessing local resources (files, local databases), we are developing a lightweight desktop agent called the Bridge Agent. The Bridge Agent connects to our platform via WebSocket and allows AI assistants to securely interact with resources on your computer. This feature is currently in development.

For Developers

MCP server developers can publish their servers on our marketplace and reach users on Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf. We handle hosting, billing, and distribution. Learn more on our For Developers page.

Operator

MCP Link Layer is operated by Korbinian Sdunek. For legal details, see our Impressum.
